Ok, this caught my eye.  Its a Magnetically-repulsed Verticle Windmill.  Effectively what it means is that they Windmill is suspended from permenant magnents to spin in the wind with low friction (the website claims Zero.... but as an engineer I can't believe that).

The cool thing about this is that it remvoes one of the major dificulties of win power generation.... loss due to mechanical friction.  Aslo, this windmill is supposed to replace up to 1k standard windmills, in les than 1/63000 of the acerage and power even more home.  I mean WOW!  if theory turns into even partial reality, this could be a major boon to green technology!
